Abergavenny Festival of Cycling
This seven day festival is a mecca for keen cyclists with big
events such as The Championship Sportive on the Saturday.

There'll be something for everyone with youth racing, cyclo cross and even a film night! More information www.abergavennyfestivalofcycling.co.uk

Mountain Biking
The region offers some of the UK's most publicised mountain bike trails. Redhill Extreme, mountain bike and mountain board centre, provide bike coaching with 2013 Pro Tour Champion Katy Curd. This classic 4x venue is now established as one of the best in the UK and hosts the British 4X Series to Redhill.

There are lots of companies, including Dean Forest Cycles who combine guided mountain biking lessons (all levels), workshop and bike hire.

Family cycling
There are plenty of ways to get every family member on a bike pedalling away. The region boasts traffic-free, family-friendly cycling trails that link in with nearby villages and picnic sites.

Forest Bikes are one of many companies in the region who hire out child seats, tag-alongs and trailers, so there's no excuse!

Downhill Biking
For the real adrenalin junkies, racing down these trails is sure to get your blood pumping.

The first of our Summer Downhill series races is on Sun June 22nd - great for first time racers and spectators! Testing your abilities rather than your stamina, these daring routes are short but challenging, try the the 'Skeepskull', the 'Corkscrew' or the 'Endo'!
