The event as a whole will be an unbeatable day out for families.

Traditional activities on display will include archery with the Youth Hostel Association and golfing with Forest Hills Golf Club

Quirkier activity stands such as Artspace will invite you to try your hand at trapeze and circus skills whilst
the Forestry Commission will be teaching young ones how to build and forage in the surrounding woods!

The Forest Showcase, the largest food festival in the area will be hosting their own stand and dishing out delicious local produce. The showcase will include an eclectic mix of new food producers alongside their regulars.

Forest Showcase will be holding their own Food & Drink Festival on the 5th October at the Speech House

Attendees will be given the chance to challenge themselves by mountain biking through the surrounding woods!

Or if you’d rather a less adrenaline fuelled excursion, visit the Forest of Dean Ramblers and Walking for Health stands and take a stroll down to the Speech House Lake.

International Welsh rugby star and London Irish player, Ian Gough will be there to kick off the event. There are even rumours that there will be an English player on site for a Wales V England activity!

In order to make the most out of this jam packed day, what better place to stay than at the festival itself - Speech House! Book in advance for a 15% discount.

For competitively priced accommodation, The Sawyer B&B can offer two double bedrooms with breakfast from only £30 p/p per night.

The Wilton Court Hotel boasts an award winning restaurant and inviting en-suite bedrooms overlooking the picturesque riverside location.
