Come Easter, the Gruffalo will be joined by witch, cat, dragon and co as the characters from Julia Donaldson's latest book 'Room on the Broom' make themselves at home at the Dean Heritage Centre.

Kids will also be able to spot the Perrygrove Easter Bunny and take part in a unique treasure hunt to find clues to lead you to the Easter eggs, or search the woods of Puzzlewood for clues to work out a puzzle and get a bouncy surprise at the café!

This Easter, activity provider Inspire2Adventure is offering special deals on activities like rock climbing or gorge scrambling from £25pp.

Way2Go Adventures have several discounted packages: Good Friday multi-activity day costing £60pp and a Mothering Sunday guided canoe trip for £25pp (both 50% off).

Use the promotional code 'SPRING' when booking with GoApe you'll get 10% off an Easter Adventure.

foraging break at Tudor Farmhouse Hotel is £320 based on two people sharing. This includes a guided forage with Raoul, three-course foragers’ lunch, dinner (head chef, Martin Adams will use your foraged finds) and one night’s accommodation in our best available room, and full English breakfast.

Why not celebrate the re-emergence of the sun by bedding down as close to nature as possible.

First stop, the Wooden Wigwams at the National Diving & Activity Centre. Sleeping up to five, each of these super eco-cabins is surprisingly plush, as well as being surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty.
