Dear YULA Family,
Last night was bittersweet as we celebrated the 41st commencement exercises at the Brandeis-Bardin Campus. Yes, it was most certainly different, it was nonetheless unforgettable and memorable. Watching our graduates transform into outstanding bnai torah is indescribable! Mazel tov to our graduates for reaching this milestone!
To make last night special, it required a heroic effort by parent volunteers and staff. I would like to thank Ilana Berenson, Marlene Kahan, Jennifer Pollack, Elayne Levkowitz, Rivkie Samson, and Rachael Wernick for going above and beyond in planning and executing graduation. A very special thank you to Mrs. Ziva Zeharya, Ms. Rachel Shandalov, and Ms. Jordana Wertheimer for their outstanding efforts!
While the students are gone, our administration is hard at work, as we seek to help YULA achieve greater success. We are excited to be welcoming 57 students in the Class of 2024. I am confident that the incoming students are mission appropriate, mensches, and committed to Torah and Halacha! We also have some exciting new developments on both sides of the curriculum, and I look forward to sharing them with you in the weeks ahead.
Lastly, look out for an update about our campus reopening towards the end of June. I am hopeful and excited for everyone to return to our campus in the fall!
Wishing you all a rejuvenating, meaningful, and safe summer!
