Safe Sleep for Babies

More than one-third of sudden unexpected infant deaths that occur in the United States each year are from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

October is Safe Sleep and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Awareness Month, it’s a chance to make sure your baby is safe when they sleep.

Here are a few ways to reduce the risk and help baby sleep safely. As a member, you can take prenatal and birth classes to learn more about baby safe sleep and also request a free portable crib/playpen through our Healthy Rewards Program.
