How long does it take for people to forget their God?

Old Testament stories teach – one generation is all it takes. Our desire is to see a next generation walk faithfully with the Lord. It compels us to teach the Word of God in our generation with diligence and to build up others to impact the younger generation of Eastern Europeans with the same saving message of Jesus Christ.

David, Kaon and Nikolin
teaching to teach others to teach others!

David is presently in Albania teaching the book of Romans to 48 Albanian Christian workers. He is doing this together with 2 Albanian friends: Nik whom David discipled in and past college and Kaon who has been a diligent student in many trainings we have done through the years. Both serve as teaching elders in their churches.
Pray for David, Nik and Kaon as they lead others in a meaningful time in the Word this week. The church Nikolin serves is a daughter church of the one David and a group of Albanians planted back in the 90-s. The seed planted decades ago now multiplies and bears fruit!
Thank you Lord!

“You are,.. a spiritual mom!”

Maria, A Cambodian/Swiss, third year medical student said to me, when we met for mentoring last week. Sometimes I catch myself thinking that I am not very cool. I never completed a computer game, I don’t follow tick-tok and don’t remember the names of famous actors. Do you think you are not interesting to the younger generation? The truth I discovered - younger women in our church put themselves on a waiting list in order to be mentored by an older woman. For the last 7 months I have been meeting with a small group of women from the UK, Cambodia, USA and South Afrika to point them to Christ in their circumstances, be a listening ear, answer theological questions and provide biblical perspective based on experience of my slightly longer walk with God than their own. Nothing fancy and yet it has been lifegiving and significant! Please pray we will continue building each other up as we meet together and one on one through the spring.

When Evil interrupts – trust and carry on!

Yulia continues to lead a Bible study with a group of Ukrainian women missionaries. There is fair amount of uncertainty in their lives and ministry plans because of the threat of Russian invasion. They created evacuation plans, packed emergency bags, some temporarily moved away from home and yet they continue to serve the new generation. This week our Ukrainian co-workers are hosting a student conference attended by surprise number of 400 Christian students.
Much could be said about spiritual, moral and political evaluation of the geo-political situation. Instead would you join us by praying for the church and the people of Ukraine.  Take a minute at noon every day and pray -against fear, for peace to prevail, for God to act in the hearts of the country leaders.
In 2 Corinthians 2 Paul thanks God who called us to be a part of His triumphant procession and the aroma of the knowledge of Him EVERYWHERE! We pray that as you and we persevere in engaging the next generation with the gospel and building them up in the faith, they will continue to bear witness to the glory of God found in the person of Jesus Christ in the generation behind them!
grateful for your partnership in the mission,
