Dear friends of CJR,

Our “Covering Climate Now” initiative continues to gain steam: as of today, more than 240 news organizations — with a combined reach of more than 1 billion people — have joined us as partners who are committed to sharing resources, sharing reporting, and bolstering coverage of the most urgent story of our time.

Today we are launching a new website at coveringclimatenow.org, where you can find a list of these partners and highlights from their ongoing climate coverage. We’ll also continue to share stories and lessons from this work through the customary channels at cjr.org, Instagram, and Twitter.

Lastly, if you’re in the New York area, I hope you’ll join us for a special gallery exhibition next Monday, September 16, from 6:30–8:30pm at the Foley Gallery (59 Orchard Street, New York City). We'll be featuring artwork that explores the looming impact of climate change on journalism. It serves as something of a kick-off event for our inaugural week of CCN coverage, and it should also be a great party.  RSVP at floodthenews@tbwachiat.com

Thank you, as always, for your support.
