March Market 2017

THIS MONTH AT THE
GOLDEN PLAINS FARMERS' MARKET...

We’re geared up for a fantastic autumn Market on Saturday 4 March. We’ll have TimTim the Cowboy Clown to wow the kids, The Voice Australia star Johnny Rollins to entertain us all and a great line-up of new and regular stallholders. Our tasty offerings this month include authentic vanilla paste (an amazing gourmet baking ingredient!), organic garlic, pastured pork, home-made soaps, fresh herbs and vegies, tasty salamis and hand-made dumplings—the list goes on. Your pet is also in for a treat: 4Paws Pet Treats, a Lethbridge stallholder, will join us to sell 100% natural snacks for pets!

In this month's newsletter, find out which fantastic stallholders will join us this March and what's in season, learn why you should try Freshwater Creek Garlic and read some interesting health information about Kefir (which is sold at our Market).

We look forward to seeing you there!

STALLHOLDER STORY: FRESHWATER CREEK GARLIC

Organic garlic you should invite into your home
Established in 2010, Freshwater Creek Garlic is a family-owned farming business based in Freshwater Creek, just out of Geelong. Owners John and Sarah Olliff produce early green, single bulb, bunched and plaited garlic. Their produce is farm-fresh, organic and delicious—so great, in fact, they were awarded ‘Gold’ in the Melbourne Fine Foods Awards in 2016. Learn more about these fabulous garlic growers and why you should try their produce via the link below.
