Spring Branch ISD Board Meeting on Monday, September 19

Spring Branch ISD Board Meeting is on Monday, September 19 at 6 PM. We are going to stand for our LGBTQ+ youth and the Allie’s that support them. Especially, but not exclusively for folks who live in the district. Write to coordinate.

Spring Branch ISD has a new policy they are enforcing, which disallows “safe space” and LGBTQ PRIDE signage. Let’s show up for the next generation and stand against this politicalization of human decency!

The Normal Anomaly is partnering with the Houston Health Department to provide Monkeypox Vaccinations on September 22, 2022, from 1 PM-8 PM.

Monkeypox has disproportionately affected LGBTQ+ People of Color. According to a report published by GLAAD, Black and Latinx people are contracting the virus at rates disproportionate to their respective populations in the United States. “Although Black people account for one-third of the 18,000 documented MPV cases nationwide, they have just received just 10.5% of vaccine doses.”
