2022 General Endorsements Are Available

We appreciate everyone that joined us last Saturday for our 2022 General Election Endorsement Meeting! All of our endorsements are available on our PAC website here. We will follow with posting our endorsement card within the next month, so please stay tuned to our website and social media for updates.

In the meantime, be sure your voter registration is up to date! The last day to register to vote is October 11.

City Council Committee on Quality of Life to Receive Monkeypox Updates on 8/24
The Houston City Council Committee on Quality of Life will receive important updates about Monkeypox and COVID-19 at the August 24 committee meeting. Health Department Director Stephen Williams and the City’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. David Persse, will provide those updates and share information about the City’s efforts to stop the spread of Monkeypox and expand vaccine eligibility, especially to those at highest risk.
 
The hybrid committee meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams as well as in person beginning at 2 p.m. The meeting will also be streamed live on HTV. The meeting is open to the public, and residents may sign up to speak by filling out the online speakers form no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Harris County Elections' LGBTQIA+ Community Meeting on August 30
You're invited to Harris County Elections' LGBTQIA+ Community Meeting on Tuesday, August 30th, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. - 8 p.m.

This meeting is hybrid, with in-person and virtual meeting options. In-person attendants will be meeting at:
 
the Montrose Center (Rm 106)
401 Branard St, 1st Floor, Houston, TX 77006

AAPI Fundraiser for Judge Hidalgo on September 8
State Representatives Gene Wu and Hubert Vo invite you to Rep. Wu's home for a fundraiser for Judge Lina Hidalgo on September 8 at 5:30 PM. Your support enables the opportunity to make progressive gains with incoming newcomers and the current AAPI population.
