Hi <<First Name>>,

If you are not yet on our Telegram group, you are welcome to join via the link below:

(All subject to Covid restrictions)

1.  Parys jol at Weltevrede Resort - 19 to 21 February

There are still a few campsites left so book now! .

It is only an hour's drive from Al-Berton to Parys and this will make a nice break for those of us who did not go away over the Xmas season.  Apart from cycling, there is also hiking, fishing, bird watching & 2 swimming pools - the kids will have a blast!

Saturday's ride -

Sunday's ride - shorter route of approx 60km.  This will allow us time to have a quick swim before we pack up and head home.

We are not holding a block booking so accommodation must be booked direct with them.  You can phone 056 818 1291 or email them on

This will make a great weekend outing, out of Joburg, for the entire family.

2.  Vaal Ride - Sunday, 28 March

Details will be advised closer to the time.

But, in the meantime, you can arrange your transport from Stilbaai back to Rietvlei with Destiny Tours.  Contact Elsie (via WhatsApp) on 082 463 2887 or

PS......Good news for those who do not want to ride the entire route.  Tommy will drop you and your bike off at the end of the tar road, past Suikerbosrand (approx  20km past the Circus).   It is only 43km from the new stop to Stilbaai.
