DenverArts.org started as a way to let folks in Denver know what was going on out and about on the local art scene. And then came 2020 and nothing was going on out and about. I had already been slowing down the pace on posting events and was in the process of working with Ethan to take over and breathe some fresh life into the website when covid hit. There certainly was some cool stuff going on even with covid, but it wasn't quite the same. Further, I've since moved out of Denver making it even more difficult to keep on top of the scene, so it is with great happiness that I introduce Ethan Barrett as the new director of DenverArts.org.
Ethan has some great ideas on how to better automate things, like event listings and keep DenverArts.org alive as a way to organize all the interesting and diverse goings on with the ever changing co-op scene, the local museums and other gallery and arts venues. Ethan's also going to transfer over 10 years of archived articles and event listings to the new site.
