Blades installed on 3rd GE’s Haliade 150-6MW Offshore with the latest Liftra Blade Lifting Yoke

Liftra is proud of being part of the team that successfully installed the 3rd GE Haliade family member in Østerild (DK) on the 2nd of May 2016. The installation of the three blades was successfully performed in record time by GE and Liftras team of operators using latest Liftra Blade Yoke technology.
Our congratulations to GE for the implacable hard work and the sequence of successes achieved already, and in the future. The adventure will continue soon with the installation of the first offshore wind farm in the US, located off the coast of Block Island and Rhode Island, during the second half of 2016. On which Liftra is happy to announce its collaboration with GE for operating and taking full care of the Blade Lifting Yoke.
The new Liftra Blade Yokes are the result of more than 13 years of experience,
and can include:
  • DNV approvement and FMECA
  • Fully reduntant operation system
  • Sealed against enviroment for blade protection
The yoke can operate in up to 18m/s winds.

Liftra Self-Hoisting Crane model and exhibition
