Head Master's Newsletter | 12th December 2019

Seasons greeting to each and every one of you.

It’s been a truly splendid term, topped off with our carol concert that was hugely attended last night at St Stephen’s. It was so lovely to hear the boys sing and your spontaneous applause. I’ve also had the privilege of attending a much festive Early Years Christmas lunch, giving out the merit and good conduct certificates in Pre-Prep, attending the Lower School and Pre-Prep Christmas church service this week and watching our Middle and Upper School boys perform brilliantly in Tis the Season. These events have been the summation of an incredibly busy and productive Autumn term and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping us give the boys our very best.

As we move into the new year, we want to continue to support you more and would like to draw your attention to the wrap around care survey which will be used to understand your needs from our breakfast club and after school provision. If you could please let us know your thoughts, then we can ensure that our service is supporting you and the boys at its very best. To fill in the survey, please click here.

Wishing you all a memorable and restful festive season.

Water Polo Festival

On Tuesday, the U12s and U13s finished their first term of polo with a wonderful Christmas festival hosted by Dulwich College.  Playing in mixed teams, the boys played nearly an hour of non-stop competitive matches and finished the evening with hot-dogs in the club room.  It was a superb way to end the year!

Nursery Nativities

The Little Prince(s)

This week, Year 3 boys went to the Omnibus Theatre in Clapham to see The Little Prince revisited. The story sticks closely to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s original book and is full of endearing messages about friendship and human imagination. The boys and teachers very much enjoyed the show and were able to join in too!
