PTA Volunteer Hours - Track your volunteer hours!  The district requests that we track all of our Frostwood volunteer hours each month.  If you are volunteering at school during school hours, please sign in at the front dest and note on the sign in sheet the reason you are at school is for the PTA.  Ms. Whitnel will then enter your hours into the school district's system.  The office is no longer maintaining the Volunteer Hours log.  If you are volunteering and working outside of Frostwood and/or school hours, please continue to track your time as done traditionally.  You can submit these hours either in the office to Ms. Whitnel or to your committee chair.  I will be sending out reminders at the end of the month to committee chairs to submit hours for their committees.
Please email Keri Bassett with any questions regarding volunteer hours.

Nurse Nancy's Notes

Welcome back to Frostwood!  I hope all of you had a fun and restful summer!  It's my privilege to care for your children again this year.

Just a few reminders-
1.  Be sure to do your back to school forms online.  I am missing many clinic cards and would appreciate everyone filling out a new one, as health issues and contact information can change.  I do not keep cards from year to year.
2.  Fever, diarrhea, vomiting- your student must be free of these symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school.
3.  Again this year, there is an increase in the number of students with food allergies.  Please consider this and check with your classroom teacher when bringing treats in for any celebrations.  Some ideas to consider are: Popsicle brand Popsicles (yellow box), Minute Maid juice bars, Nabisco Oreo cookies, Keebler Bug Bites graham crackers, Nabisco Barnum animal crackers, Rold Gold pretzels, CHeezit crackers, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers, Nilla wafers.

Please know that my door is always open, and I am a phone call away if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you for helping me to keep all of our students healthy and safe at school.  I look forward to a great year at Frostwood!

Nancy Musgrove RN  (713) 252-5725
