COVID-19 Guidance for the Construction Industry

OSHA released guidance for the construction industry during COVID-19. For example:
  • To the extent tools or equipment must be shared, provide and instruct workers to use alcohol-based wipes to clean tools before and after use. When cleaning tools and equipment, workers should consult manufacturer recommendations for proper cleaning techniques and restrictions.

  • Keep in-person meetings (including toolbox talks and safety meetings) as short as possible, limitthe number of workers in attendance, and use social distancing practices.

OSHA Guidance on Enforcement During the COVID-19 Pandemic

OSHA released a memo advising of discretion in enforcement when considering an employer's good faith efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. 
Cleaning and Disinfecting your Facility

The CDC released guidance for cleaning and disinfecting your facility everyday, when someone is sick, and considerations for employers.
Paid Sick Leave Enforcement

The temporary period of non-enforcement of paid leave protections under the FFCRA ended on 4/20/2020 - USDOL. Refer to MMCA's COIVD-19 webpage with questions on the paid sick leave provisions or call 651-646-2121.
