COVID-19 Guidance for the Construction Industry
OSHA released guidance for the construction industry during COVID-19. For example:
To the extent tools or equipment must be shared, provide and instruct workers to use alcohol-based wipes to clean tools before and after use. When cleaning tools and equipment, workers should consult manufacturer recommendations for proper cleaning techniques and restrictions.
Keep in-person meetings (including toolbox talks and safety meetings) as short as possible, limitthe number of workers in attendance, and use social distancing practices.
OSHA Guidance on Enforcement During the COVID-19 Pandemic
OSHA released a memo advising of discretion in enforcement when considering an employer's good faith efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
