Pandemic Safety Plans Required for All Businesses by June 29, 2020 - Updated Requirements
The Department of Labor and Industry released on June 25, 2020 updated Preparedness Plan Requirements Guidance for Construction and COVID-19 Preparedness Plan and Industry Guidance FAQs for all industries. 
Contact MMCA (651-646-2121) with comments on the Guidance to assist our conversations with the Department.  

Beginning on June 29, 2020, according to Executive Order 20-74 all Critical Businesses must develop and implement a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in accordance with the industry guidance currently posted to the Stay Safe Minnesota website and any additional applicable industry guidance. 

The Department of Labor and Industry have scheduled webinars for the construction industry to assist in plan drafting. 

  • Wednesday, July 1 -- 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 2 -- 9 to 10:30 a.m.

Extension of National Service and Maintenance Agreement

The UA and MCA have jointly agreed to extend the termination date of the current National Service and Maintenance Agreement, dated August 1, 2015 - July 31, 2020, until July 31, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. All current signers to the National Agreement remain bound to the terms of the Agreement and obligated to its current provisions until such time that the Agreement is terminated by either the UA or a signatory contractor.

Cloth Face Masks Available from MMCA
