July 4th Holiday Language - Reminder

July 4th is a federally recognized holiday and will be observed on Friday, July 3, 2020. See below for July 4th, 2020 holiday language for each local. All work performed on the applicable days will be at double time rates.

Local 15 Metro & Local 34– July 4th…or the day observed as such. (July 3, 2020)
For the metro plumbers if both dates are worked then one of them is recognized as the holiday and the other is dependent on how many hours you have already worked in the week.

Local 455 & Local 539 Metro & St. Cloud – July 4th…or the day recognized by the Federal Government. (July 3, 2020)
For the pipefitters Saturdays are already at double time so if both July 3rd and July 4th are worked double time is owed for both.

Mankato – Only the holiday itself, not before or after. (July 4, 2020)

Local 15 St. Cloud - If the holiday falls on a Saturday, it shall be observed on Friday. (July 3, 2020)

Local 6 - If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday before is treated as the holiday. (July 3, 2020)

Zone 2 – Friday is also a holiday when July 4th is on a Saturday. (July 3, 2020)
