The UC Davis Honey and Pollination Center is going to be at picnic day!

It's Pollination Day!

Saturday April 18, 2015 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

For the third year in a row, the UC Davis Honey and Pollination Center is hosting "Pollination Day" in the courtyard of the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science.

Beginning at 10:00 AM, the day will feature an array of delicious honeys to taste, as well as sales of our very own UC Davis California Wildflower Honey, the proceeds of which support the center's efforts.

We will have craft making for kids, as well as our bee costume - come dress up as our favorite pollinator! There will be continuous showings of
the DisneyNature film "Wings of Life" in the Silverado Vineyards Sensory Theater.

New this year:
We have our very own obersvation beehive, and you can enter for a chance to paint it with your own design!

And, coming up in less than a month...
A day of presentations, lectures, Q&A's, and interactive displays on the theme of bee health and management. Keynote by MacArthur "Genius Grant" Winner Marla Spivak. Presented by the Honey and Pollination Center and the Department of Entomology and Nematology, UC Davis.
