We are so excited to welcome all our lovely clients back to Hensmans. We are pleased to let you know that we will be open for business again on 4th July 2020. Until then, we have a bit more information to share with you.


We are currently working through our waiting and missed appointment list, please bear with us as we try to get everyone booked in.

To help with social distancing, please use our online booking request form, here, you will then be added to our waiting list. if you want to make an appointment – Please don’t come into the salon.

24 hours before your appointment, you will receive a Health and Safety questionnaire. If you have any concerns upon receiving this do not hesitate to give us a call. 


With our reopening date approaching we want to assure you that your safety and the safety of our team are of utmost importance to us. We have worked very hard preparing the salon to welcome you back, we have zoned the salon to create less traffic. Each stylist now has their own work stations, you will be directed to the correct area of the salon upon arrival.

Below are extra health and safety measures we are taking based on the Government COVID 19 guidelines. 

  1. Our team will greet you without close contact (no handshakes, hugs etc.). 
  2. On arrival we will check your temperature, if you have a high temperature you will be asked to leave. 
  3. You will be asked to use hand sanitiser or wash your hands. We will provide these facilities.
  4. Masks in salon are optional, as all staff will be wearing visors as per government guidelines. If you wish to wear a mask please bring one with you as they will not be provided. 
  5. Our team is following strict hygiene guidelines and we ask you to do the same – please place any used paper towels and tissues straight in the bin after use. Sanitize or wash your hands after coughing or sneezing. 
  6. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refreshments, you are welcome to bring your own. 
  7. There will be no magazines or newspapers to share between clients. 
  8. Team members will be sanitizing all stations, door handles and bathrooms regularly.
  9. Team members will be washing their hands thoroughly between clients and appointments.
  10. We ask you not to touch any of our retail products unless you are definitely purchasing the item. 
  11. Please pay with a card (preferably contactless) where possible instead of cash. 


As we are sure you will understand, with increased appointment times, extra product and PPE costs all appointments will have up to £10 added. 

We have also suspended all our offers and discounts until further notice*, we will relaunch offers in the not too distant future.             

*excluding Hensmans hero discount. If you are a Hensmans hero you can still receive 10% off. Terms and conditions apply.
