He is one of only 100 students in Florida moving forward in the GeoBee, representing SCF Collegiate School in the state competition!!
Our Manatee County representative, she is the recipient of a Congressional Award and earned second place in the talent competition for the Distinguished Young Women of Florida! She was also involved in Be Your Best Self and presented a project that she developed for a group of elementary students during the week of events.  Click/tap here for more info about the national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women.

Get Up Close and Personal with Chamber Ensembles March 26

Listen to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF)'s Chamber Ensembles as you've never experienced them before at Up Close and Personal, Thursday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m., at SCF’s Neel Performing Arts Center, 5840 26th St. W., Bradenton.

Sit on stage with the performers surrounding you and hear the Presidential String Quartet, Brass Choir, Woodwind Choir, Saxophone Choir, Flute Choir, Percussion Ensemble, Woodwind Quintet, and Brass Quintet, offering a unique perspective to a traditional concert. Sit so close you can actually feel the music.

General admission tickets are $10, available online at SCF students and staff can purchase $5 tickets in the lobby one hour before the performance.

FortifyFL is a reporting app by the state required by state law for K-12 for anyone to report a tip, which is then forwarded to the appropriate school authorities.

Livesafe is also used at SCF and available for SCFCS students, as a life safety app that allows for two-way communication between public safety and faculty, staff or students requesting help or wanting to report an issue. It can also give SCF Public Safety GPS location for the person as well. It also can send emergency information to those who have registered for it. More information is found here:
