Death is a Cabaret Ol’ Chum: A Graveyard Cabaret
(A Philadelphia Fringe Festival Event)
September 13-16, 8pm with cocktails at 7:30pm

Five Star Rating: Best of the 2016 Philadelphia Fringe! -DC Metro Theater Arts

“A quirky combo of fright-night-meets-
kickline-cabaret…gripping vocals…stunning.” -Phindie

“This is terrific cabaret, campy and vampy with that twist of risqué. The three member cast deliver the tunes with intimate menace.” -Count Kenula

After rave reviews from audiences and critics alike and selling out multiple shows, New York-based REV Theatre Company will return to Laurel Hill Cemetery to again delight the crowd with Death is a Cabaret Ol’ Chum: A Graveyard Cabaret. Sip on free cocktails as darkness falls and wait for the (singing) souls to appear through the mists of Laurel Hill Cemetery for a toe-tapping, spine-tingling good time. This program will be presented as part of the 2017 Philly Fringe Festival.

Take a virtual tour of Laurel Hill Cemetery using Google Maps.

In 2016 Philadelphia became the first major city to partner with Google to catalog many of the city’s cultural attractions, including Laurel Hill Cemetery. The mapping was completed by two Parks and Recreation employees, who walked over 400 miles to record the city’s trails. A detailed view of the cemetery's landscape can now be viewed via Google's Street View images. Read more about the project on the City of Philadelphia's website.
