The mural is a great addition to Batesville, and revitalizes a busy intersection, further beautifying the downtown area. This interactive piece brings social opportunities for all and will welcome additional creativity in the future.

Tarter and Herman-Crum Grants Awarded

The legacies of Frank Tarter, Ray Herman, and Louise Herman-Crum live on through the many grants awarded to local Osgood organizations. Each fund shared a philanthropic ideology that would continue on long after their passing. These donors each hoped that these perpetual grants would ensure that Osgood remains * "a community with visible vitality and life with a renewed and lasting sense of community pride."
