Solano Food Bank Opportunity

TPC has a longstanding partnership with the Solano Food Bank that provides food to local resident in need and is sponsored by the San Francisco Solano Catholic Church. The nonperishable food collection has been lovingly handled by Lori and Dick Aced for many years and they are looking to pass the baton to a new volunteer(s) and will be able to answer any questions. Deliveries can be made every 2-3 weeks or as needed.

We are extremely grateful for this ministry and partnership with our fellow community Christian Church. If you would be willing to help with this ministry so that it can continue please contact Lori or the church office

Urgent Need for Twin Sheets

The Village of Hope/Orange County Rescue Mission has an urgent need for twin sheet sets. In response we have purchased sheet sets from the mission budget and will give them as a gift from TPC. They will be displayed after the service on June 2nd and there will be a donation basket if you would like to contribute anything to buy additional sets. You can also bring new sheets on Sunday, June 2nd, or during VBS week.

Mission's Spring Cleaning Event

This May the Missions Committee is collecting used prescription glasses, old cell phones, and used bath towels, all of which will be refurbished and re-purposed to give to the gift of sight, safety, and cleanliness to that who are in need. Collection boxes will be available at the welcome table. If you have questions please contact Renee Tevlin.

Stewardship Update

Stewardship applies to everything we have been given. Our time, our money, our God-given gifts and abilities, our influence, our environment, it all comes from God. The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) reminds us that faithful stewards take “calculated risks” in order to multiply what they have been given. We may be OK with giving our energy, time, or sharing abilities, but money is not something that people give away easily, except for those with the gift of benevolence. Are you a faithful steward? By His grace you can be faithful.
