This year’s diocesan convention will be held online on November 5, 2022.
Nominations
The Call for Nominations for diocesan leadership positions is available in English and in Spanish with descriptions of the available positions; it includes links to online nomination forms in English and Spanish.
Nominations are due on September 30.
Resolutions

Resolutions are due September 6.

Deanery meetings in advance of Convention will be held in September on the following dates (all times 6:30 to 8:30 pm, held via Zoom)
Tuesday, September 13: San Luis Obispo Deanery
Wednesday, September 14: Monterey Deanery
Thursday, September 15: Santa Clara Valley Deanery

A Reminder from Steve Kottmeier, Diocesan Chancellor and the Constitutions & Canons Committee
Are you thinking of proposing a change to our canons? One of the roles of the diocesan Constitution & Canons Committee is to be available to advise and assist diocesan bodies and others who are entitled to submit resolutions regarding our Constitution and Canons. We can help with both formulating and drafting specific proposed changes. Even though our next diocesan business convention is scheduled for November, proposed resolutions will be due in early September. The Committee invites anyone considering submitting a Constitution or Canons resolution to take advantage of its services well in advance of the deadline. The Committee may be contacted through the Chancellor at chancellor@realepiscopal.org
