French students visit Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall
In March a party of French students from College Jules Ferry in Cambrai visited the area. They spent an afternoon at Blaenavon Workmen’s Hall with members of Dawnswyr Blaenafon who were wearing traditional Welsh costume. After initial reluctance from the boys, they spent a happy afternoon of Welsh dancing and had a wonderful time, promising to come back next year.
