Summer Sundays at Blaenavon World Heritage Centre
Throughout August the grounds of the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre will be alive with the sound of music and dance as we continue to host our popular ‘Summer Sundays’ programme.
There will be music from female harmony group Mello D as well as the beautiful vocals of soloist Sarah Campbell Horner. Also in addition to the music we  have Dawnswyr Blaenavon performing traditional Welsh dancing.
Make the most of your Sundays with lunch or a cream tea at the Heritage Tearoom, put your feet up, enjoy the view and relax to live music and dance on the patio.
Performances take place on 2nd, 9th and 16th August from 2-4pm.

Family fun at Blaenavon World Heritage Centre 30th August
There will be a day of family fun at Blaenavon World Heritage Centre on Sunday 30th August, 10-4pm.
Families can experience what lessons were like more than 150 years ago in a Victorian classroom with our strict Victorian school master. Take the Tell Tale Trail challenge around the Centre to understand what life was like through stories told by local school children.  In the afternoon there will be guided walks which will be suitable for families where you will learn all about the history and wildlife in this important landscape.
In addition to the Victorian fun there will also be a bouncy castle, face painting and craft marquee plus lots more in the grounds to keep everyone entertained!
