Springtime in Blaenavon! April will see us having some Easter themed activities at the World Heritage Centre during the holidays which you can see on the Events Page of Visit Blaenavon.
Try our Tell Tail Trail of steel figures in the grounds who are there rain or shine, each with their own story to listen to, with characters from 1816 to the 1980’s – there are five to find!

Blaenavon Walking Festival Following on from last year’s success, the 2014 Blaenavon Walking Festival will take place from Saturday 5th to Friday 11th April 2014. This week of walks around the World Heritage Site will include some old favourites such as 'Over the Hill' with Frank Olding as well as some new walks such as the exciting 'Clydach Gorge Foraging Feast' and 'Landscape and Ale' both of which take in a 'taste' of the Blaenavon World Heritage site. Easter Egg Hunt at Blaenavon Ironworks 11.00am – 4.00pm – Free Hop along to Blaenavon Ironworks this Easter Sunday and participate in an Easter Egg Hunt.

World Heritage Day – 28 June 2014 Taking place in Blaenavon’s Heritage town, this year’s event will feature an abundance of great street entertainment, including a Heritage Costume Parade, Victorian Fun Fair, Live Music, Street Acts and Craft Stalls..... A great family day out! In 2013 this event attracted 10 thousand people!
