National Quality Mentoring System and IMP Certification
Thursday, October 12, 2pm

Mentoring is about more than helping as many kids as possible. Evidence shows that quality mentoring practices are a determining factor in achieving positive youth outcomes. Through the National Quality Mentoring System (NQMS), the IMP supports programs in implementing a continuous quality improvement process to improve program practices over time. THIS SYSTEM WILL SOON REPLACE THE CURRENT IMP CERTIFICATION PROCESS. Learn more about how to engage in the process on this call.

Tools to Strengthen Match Support and Closure

A growing body of research suggests that providing appropriate support for matches, including during the closure process, is a major challenge for youth mentoring programs.
