Youth in Conservation
Developing lifelong skills in wildlife and land preservation

The El Ranchito Conservation Corps arrives at Westcave Preserve, helmets on, tools in hand, and with an enthusiastic spirit to create an impact. While the Westcave Conservation team hosts dozens of workdays throughout the year, the teenagers of the El Ranchito Conservation Corps are some of our hardest working volunteers dedicating their summer service in the name of wildlife and land conservation. >> MORE

Westcave Preserve Education Programs provide critical connection to the natural world

A second grader on a field trip at Westcave Preserve descended into the canyon and proclaimed, “I have never been this deep in nature before. This is awesome!”

For many of the school children we serve, our hikes and education programs are a new experience, a novel encounter with the natural world. A third grader on a field trip said, “This is 100% NATURE, and I love it.” ... >> MORE
