"Nature is the source of all true knowledge.  She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity."

~Leonardo da Vinci
After a hard days work on Testing Day everyone deserves to kick back and relax which calls for a day on North Carolina's Crystal Coast!  We will travel to Fort Macon State Park that offers multiple opportunities for adventure.  It is the site of a perfectly restored Civil War-era fort, a coastal education center, and an unspoiled shoreline perfect for beach combing. Nearly surrounded by water, the park offers opportunities to explore and learn about salt marshes, estuaries and dune fields. Being designed by Robert E. Lee as a young army engineer, the fort has a history as unique as the ecosystem surrounding it.

We will also visit the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores.  Here you will see aquatic animals from the mountains to the sea and even get to explore ship wrecks.

We have a fun filled day planned for you as we explore the natural wonders and history of our Crystal Coast and put our toes in the sand for a taste of summer fun in North Carolina.
