FAIRVIEW FAMILY,
What a blessing it was to see so many of you halfway through our week! If you missed Table Talk on Wednesday, don't fret. We are back in our routine of being together from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays this semester. I hope you will join us as we fellowship around the dinner table, as we study God's Word together, and as we come before the throne of grace in prayer. I'm particularly excited about some of the studies our youth and children are beginning. In the 10-12 year-old class, our students are beginning a class where they will learn specifically about the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. This will be great preparation for them when they are ready to begin communicant's class. In the youth class, we're beginning a brand new study on the Westminster Shorter Catechism. Taking these catechisms one, two, or three at a time we'll dig deeper into the Bible's teaching on a number of important topics like creation, the Trinity, scripture, sin, justification, sanctification, the sacraments, and prayer, to name a few. As for our adults, we're continuing with our survey of the Bible. I can't think of a better study than that!
Remember, dinner is served at 5:30 p.m., and the cost is $9.25 per person with a $25 limit for families. I look forward to joining you at the table for dinner, study, and prayer!
As alway, I'm anticipating Sunday's worship with you when we shall "offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire" (Heb. 12:28-29). See you then.
