GIANT BUBBLE PLAY TIME! This Sunday 10:15 am

Giant Bubbles were part of the fun we had when the grands visited this summer.  Playing with them reminds us how important play is at all ages.  This Sunday we are going to be playing giant bubbles in the parking lot in front of the Fellowship.  All are welcome to participate.  It is fun to make bubbles and it is fun to watch them being made.  See you there. 828 524-3691

Potluck this Sunday! Everyone brings a dish!

Community Quilt Project Meeting After Potluck

For the next meeting, please bring in some fabric pieces that you are fond of and would be suitable for use in a 12 inch square, keeping in mind that each block could reflect an aspect of our UU community and even the larger community. Click on the link below to learn about a collaborative quilt project described in UU World.

On Sunday, August 4 at 3:00 p.m.!

The Mountain Voices 50-voice chorus will be singing with the First Presbyterian Church choir in Franklin for the annual benefit concert along with other musicians, reception afterwards with homemade cookies and other delicious desserts.  Donations will be accepted for the support of the Black Mountain Children's Home, one of the many charities the Presbyterian Church supports.  All are welcome to attend.

Sunday’s Gift Mix in Celebration Hall was successful. People took the opportunity to explore what the committees presented as their visions for activities this next year. Jim and Brenda Meara have offered to be co-coordinators of The Hospitality Committee, with Martha Thomas, Randy Holmes and Joe Pelatti also choosing to be a part of the team.

In addition, the following committees all received more help from several people (committee helper names will be presented in the future): Worship Service, Caring, Grounds, Finance, and Social Media/Communications Group

Thank you to everyone for their participation and/or support for the success of Sunday’s event.

Social Media/Communication Group Email

There is a group of volunteers who are taking on the responsibilities of our UUFF Social Media.  Becky Dobbs is the coordinator of this group which is made up of the Facebook Moderator, Annette Watlington; the UU View Editor, Wendy Inglefield and; the UUFF Website Administrator, Becky D. Dan Kowal is the UUFF’s connection to activism opportunities that relate to our Principles.  Dan will notify the fellowship and friends of any opportunities that come about through the joint use of the website, Facebook and UU View.

There is an email address which can be used to present any information or communications that will go to all three Social Media formats so that people do not have to know who all to send information to.  The email address is:  uuffcommunications@googlegroups.com

For the time-being; items going to the UU View, may use Wendy Inglefield’s email address (inglefwl@gmail.com) to allow for communication back and forth for clarity between the submitter and Wendy.  Becky Thorndike.

The UUFF website is undergoing a reboot and may not be working properly off and on for the next few weeks.  Please be patient as we give it this needed update.
We thank you in advance for entering your full name
when signing up on the Volunteer whiteboard so that we can get the details correct for the
UU View and the Sunday Bulletin.
Alert from UUA Internet Technology Services: Religious groups and congregations are becoming easy targets for online scams often delivered via email. For more information click on the link below.
