  • MUB - Proposed acquisition of River Road Public Service District (RRPSD)
    • Tim Ball presented the council with items regarding the acquisition of River Road Public Service District. Ball briefly discussed each item and the effects that it would have on the city.

  • Don Spencer spoke about difficulties that arise when lawsuits are brought against the city.

  • Asset purchase agreement - City of Morgantown, Morgantown Utility Board and River Road Public Service District
    • This item will be moved to the next city council meeting agenda.
  • Resolution recommending the assumption, and re-designation of the River Road Public Service District's Water Revenue Bond
  • Resolution recommending the acquisition of assets of the waterworks system of River Road Service District
  • Resolution authorizing the acquisition of assets of the waterworks system of River Road Service District. 
  • Bond ordinance - Assumption of the River Road Public Service District and redesigned and replaced as the combined utility system revenue bonds, series 2019 A and combined utility revenue bonds, series 2019 B. 
    • This item will be moved to the next city council meeting agenda. 
  • Ordinance authorizing the acquisition of the assets of the waterworks system of River Road Public Service District and approving an acquisition agreement by and among River Road Public Service District, the City of Morgantown and Morgantown Utility Board. 
    • This item will be moved to the next city council meeting agenda. 
  • Ordinance setting forth the rates, fees and charges for service to customers of the waterworks system of the City of Morgantown. 
    • This ordinance would not change the charges that are already in place to customers of the waterworks system of the City of Morgantown. This ordinance would add an addition to where specific rates apply. This item will be moved to the next city council meeting agenda.
  • Ordinance authorizing  sale of real estate near the Morgantown Municipal Airport. 
    • This ordinance would authorize the sale of two small parcels of real estate to RDR Properties. RDR Properties intends to use these parcels for either property maintenance or construction of a small storage building. This item will be moved to the next city council meeting agenda. 
  • Ordinance annulling a part of Beverly Alley and dedicating additional right of way. 
    • This ordinance would give additional right of way to the City of Morgantown along Beverly Alley. The final details are still being discussed with the property owner. This item will be moved to the next city council meeting. 
  • February 2019 General Fund finance report and detailed budget report. 
    • City Manager Paul Brake discussed the General Fund Finance Report and the detailed budget report. This information is available on the city webpage
