New trip to Knoll Gardens and Wimborne Minister September 14th

On Wednesday 14th September we have a new trip with a morning visit to Wimborne, a picturesque, market town dating back to pre-Roman times on the banks of the rivers Stour and Allen.  Highlights include the Museum of East Dorset with walled garden and tearoom and the Minster Church with Chained Library dating from the 1300s plus an astronomical clock. Plenty of cafes/restaurants for coffee/lunch before visiting Knoll Gardens in the afternoon.

Knoll Gardens is an internationally recognized 4-acre garden (and nursery) created by acclaimed gardener Neil Lucas. It is home to one of the country’s most extensive collections of grasses and planted with thousands of grasses and flowering perennials. It's a wonderful naturalistic garden rich in ideas that can be adapted for your garden. Cost £18 total for coach & admission. Guests £3 extra. Depart Uplyme Village Hall 9.15am.
