Come and visit us and experience a true taste of the Borders.

Summer is here and the eating is good! We have a full market at Brampton this Saturday including Helens Herbs with a fantastic array of plants and herbs and Red Dial Nursery to help brighten up your garden.

Carlisle market has been enjoying being in the precinct at the Cathedral, just next to the cafe makes an ideal spot to shop. This month we have a few new stalls to meet. Just Messin’ (see below) and Knitted with Love who make children’s and adults clothes, figures and even dish cloths!

Did you check out the nature festival at the Tarn last weekend? Organised by All the Fellfoot partners there were lots of really useful conversations with people about Sustainable Brampton, Brampton 2 Zero and our new initiative in partnership with Brampton Acting Together and Brampton Community Centre; Brampton and Fellside Repair Cafe. If you’d like any more information about what was discussed or the repair cafe please do contact Heather at heather.tipler@gmail.com

Sweet treats by Martin Frickel
Lucky  you if you were at Carlisle last month and caught the new sweet treat stall at the market, the brownies and traybakes made by Martin were fantastic! Here's what he has to say about his bakes...

'Our not-so-secret ingredient to producing the gooiest, mouthwatering, unique bakes on the market is using small producers and suppliers in Cumbria that I'm passionate about wherever we can - this ensures every brownie and blondie is the best it can be!!

Our flavours range from childhood, nostalgic combinations such as rhubarb & custard blondie to humble classics like salted caramel brownie - sweet treats have something for everyone!'

Come along on the 2nd July to try them out.

Just Messin
Are an imaginative childrens play centre on Botchergate in Carlisle, but they also specialise in home made tie-dye, crochet and other crafts. Come to Carlisle on the 2nd July and see what they have created!
