Come and visit us and experience a true taste of Cumbria

Well we have had our first Carlisle and Brampton markets since the easing of lockdown and I have to say they both went very well. A very big thank you to all our customers who followed the rules carefully and to all the stallholders who worked so hard to make the changes necessary and make the market a success.
As before if you can pre order from the stallholders then it would make it easier on the day, please find a list below.
We have a couple of new stallholders too, see below for more details.
This month at Brampton we will also have an expanded range from Kohlrabi who have had a lot of success with new treats like suet puddings on their delivery rounds, come and give them a try!

Freedom Chocolate New at Carlisle and Brampton
You may have spotted these guys at Carlisle and they are coming to Brampton this month too. Here is what they have to say about their delicious chocolate...

'Using our own special recipes, we blend the raw ingredients together to make our chocolate. Then, using age old, skilled techniques the chocolate is hand tabled across a granite slab. This develops the flavours and texture. Next, the chocolate is hand poured. Finally, every bar is wrapped by hand.  Each bar is truly a labour of love. Freedom Chocolate is a raw chocolate that is suitable for EVERYONE – including Vegans and Allergy Sufferers'.

Warwick Bridge Corn Mill - New for Brampton and Carlisle
We have the lovely folk from the water mill at the markets this month with their fantastic stone ground flour, sourdough and pastries.

' Warwick Bridge Corn Mill is a Grade II* listed building and was rebuilt in 1839 as part of Corby Castle estate. Here at Warwick Bridge Corn Mill, flour and bread will be produced and sold from wheat sourced as locally as possible and stone ground on site, and along with bread-making classes and mill tours, will support the upkeep of the Grade II* listed landmark as a community resource'
