Weekend greetings from Confusion Studios in New York! Since I can no longer bear to read the news, I've been focusing on MIDI Designer. Here's what's new in 2.4.5:

NEW :: Vintage Throttle: This will allow you to work with devices that cannot handle the speed.

NEW :: Snap and Return: Allows you to snap a subcontrol to a value and then return to its current value. Trés cool (and hopefully useful)!

NEW :: Redid sysex input (slightly) to be more efficient and easier. Does anyone know this user who requested it? I'd sure like to know if they're happy!

Developer Log #1 and Big Changes

We just submitted Version 2.4.6 for review, but the real excitement is the BIG CHANGES in the pipe!

We're pushing forward fast on big new features. Movable Panels is well on the way, and some of the top-secret future features include words like, "geographic subcontrols" and "templates with Make Similar."

Below is a video from Friday morning, which is now nearly obsolete it's been almost 48 hours of straight coding since then.

MD Design Con One: Post Mortem

On October 25, we hosted our first online video chat. We had users from four different continents, and the conversation was fun and informative. User Adam Jensen even pointed out a show-stopping bug in 2.4.5! Thanks for that.

Zoom worked well, but there were some audio problems with one user. I need to review the recorded vid and see if it can work on YouTube. I'm hoping to post something soon.

In the future, we're going to change format. My initial thoughts are either:

Office Hours or
Interviews with famous MD Users like IboKai, Rainer, EZB and many more
