Upcoming sessions at the Artsmiths of Pittsburgh, in Mt. Lebanon, PA.  Click the links below, for the title of each one, to get more information or to sign up.  Beginners are welcome in all of these; those with some previous experience can learn new techniques.

May 2016
  • Wednesday, May 18, 1 to 5:30 pm, Reversible Hollow Silver Art Jewelry Pendants.  Act quickly if you are interested:  there may be two seats left in that one.  (Five samples are shown in a photo, above,)
  • Saturday, May 21, 1 to 5:30 pm, Reversible Woven Silver Pendants. I'll order materials for this Tuesday night: I'll need to know how many are coming by then!  (Two samples are shown below, with news about Small Works and Art All Night.)
June 2016
  • Date & time TBA, but I hope to offer another basic earring-making class.  Check the bar down the right side of my blog in a week or so for a link to details and registration information.  (This newsletter goes out only very occasionally: that bar on my blog is the best place to find current information on shows, classes, and other events.)
Ongoing
  • Love metal clay but don't (yet) have a kiln?  No problem!  I also offer firing services.  Just contact me for details....
Recent workshops ... from April and early May.  I'd be happy to repeat any of these!  Just let me know which one(s) you'd like me to schedule again, at The Artsmiths of Pittsburgh (in Mt. Lebanon), at my Studio (in Regent Square), or at another venue of your choice!
Recent shows ...
  • Two of my pendants were selected for the Small Works show sponsored by the Pittsburgh Society of Artists (PSA) at the Framehouse & Jask Gallery in Lawrenceville.  There were 60 great pieces (each under 12 inches in all directions) from 45 local artists in that show.  (My entries, shown below, were originally made as samples for two upcoming classes!)
I entered this piece in Art All Night this year.  If you're not already familiar with it, AAN is an annual community celebration of creativity!  I first discovered it while I was still living in California, just happened to be in Pittsburgh for a job interview the weekend it was on ... and I became hooked:  I've participated every year since moving here! My entry this year, The Empress's Portal, was made as a sample for my Reversible Woven Silver Pendants workshop.
