Nominations for the Leonsis Family Entrepreneurship Prize are now live!

Do you know Georgetown students or recent alumni who have launched or are preparing to launch new business ventures? Each year, teams or individuals addressing problems in the world around them through entrepreneurship can compete in order to win a portion of an annual prize pool of $100,000. Help our students succeed by nominating them for our annual Bark Tank today!

Attend a Chalk Talk!

These weekly informal “walk-in entrepreneurship clinics” are open to all Georgetown students. Participants can speak with our Entrepreneurs in Residence and with each other, about their business ideas, career choices, and other topics. Students interested in starting their own venture are highly encouraged to attend.

All sessions are from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm in Hariri Conference Room 310. No sign up necessary and drop-ins are welcome!

Chalk Talk occurs every Tuesday during the school year, except during exam prep periods and breaks. Check the Events page of this website to confirm.

Hustle Fair by UHustle

The Hustle Fair is a showcase of students with side-hustles at Georgetown!
Student Hustlers will have the opportunity to showcase their side-hustles to their colleagues at Georgetown Entrepreneurship's very-own Yellow House.

Come meet your student barbers, stylists, chefs, bakers, and more.
There will be FREE food, drinks, and UHustle swag at the event.

CES 2020 Eureka Park Accessibility Contest

The Consumer Technology Association Foundation has launched its CES 2020 Eureka Park Accessibility Contest.  We are looking for startups with technologies that can benefit older adults or people with disabilities.  Five startup companies will be chosen to receive a complimentary booth at CES® 2020 in Eureka Park™, the show's flagship startup Marketplace, and a $2,500 prize. CES is the world's gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies and will run January 7-10, 2020, in Las Vegas, NV.
 
Companies that meet the Eureka Park entry criteria and contest rules have until 11:59 PM EST on September 22nd

 There’s an opportunity through Washington DC’s Small Business Technical Assistance (SBTA) program for qualifying local startups and small businesses to get *FREE* consulting services to help them launch and scale.  (That’s right – business support at no cost to entrepreneurs and business owners.)

Georgetown Entrepreneurs and Startups, You're Invited to the SBIR Road Tour at the University of Maryland

The SBIR Road Tour is a national outreach effort connecting entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies to the country’s largest source of early stage funding – the SBIR/STTR programs. Also known as America’s Seed Fund, the SBIR/STTR programs provide over $3 billion in funding to small businesses each year in a wide variety of technology areas

College Park, Maryland, will serve as a SBIR Road Tour stop for the state of Maryland, and will provide 300 attendees with an opportunity to hear directly from the participating federal agency program managers that administer over 5,000 new awards annually and to meet one-on-one with program decision makers.
