Georgetown Entrepreneurship is hosting its Third Annual Startup Career Fair to help Hoyas connect with high-growth companies in DC!

Startups often struggle to recruit at Georgetown and similar schools. We want to level the playing field by connecting startups to top-tier students who are looking to grow alongside a company. Whether you're looking for your next summer internship or a full-time job, Georgetown Entrepreneurship's Startup Career Fair is bringing the DMV's most innovative high-growth companies together to offer Hoyas exciting career opportunities in our local startup ecosystem.

Summer Launch Program Application Now Live! 

The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Summer Launch Program is a startup incubator program designed specifically for Georgetown students and current year graduates who want to launch a new venture. Many of our most successful student-led ventures have participated in the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Summer Launch Program. Several have gone on to gain admission to other regional and national accelerators, or receive other offers of investment and support.

Early admission deadline February 24th, EOD. For the Summer 2020 cohort, applications will be accepted until the program is full, and teams will be notified of a decision on a rolling basis (i.e. first come, first served).

Applications for the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge Preliminaries are NOW LIVE

The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge is Georgetown’s largest annual pitch competition series. Pitch your new venture idea to an expert panel of entrepreneurs and business leaders, gain valuable feedback, win thousands of dollars in startup funds, and meet prospective mentors and investors! 

The top team from each preliminary competition will advance to the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Challenge Finals on 4/7. Any student who is enrolled in a Georgetown graduate or undergraduate program may apply to pitch. Students will receive two opportunities to pitch their idea at the preliminary competitions from mid-March to early April.

Georgetown Entrepreneurship is Hiring!

The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative is seeking to hire a new Program Manager for full-time employment at our downtown Venture Lab location.

The Program Manager
serves as the primary liaison between WeWork, the GUEI, and the Georgetown Venture Lab community members. S/he recruits and supports the members the Venture Lab community and arranges dedicated programs/events organized on behalf of members. Reporting to the Entrepreneurship Initiative Associate Director, the Program Manager has duties that revolve around the management of the Venture Lab space.

Michael O'Neil of GetWellNetwork is on Venture Forward Now! 

Michael O’Neil, a JD-MBA, launched GetWellNetwork (GWN) while still a student at Georgetown.  Over twenty years, he has grown it into a multimillion dollar company that has partnered with the largest hospitals in the US, and vastly improved the hospital experience for their patients. GWN is now expanding into the Middle East, Europe and Australia, and Canada. Michael talks about all this and what fuels him as the leader at the helm of a large multinational company.
