Attend the 2019 Leonsis Family Entrepreneurship Prize Bark Tank Pitch Competition TONIGHT!

Aligning with the Jesuit values of Georgetown University, the Leonsis Family Entrepreneurship Prize honors and supports Georgetown students who have launched or are preparing to launch new business ventures that will address problems in the world around them. Each year, teams or individuals compete to win an amount determined from the annual limit of $100,000.

Everyday We Hustlin' Panel Discussion with Live Performance by Harvard Hip-Hop Fellow Tef Poe
 
For young creatives, entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to understand the future of arts industries and economies, this panel features S. Craig Watkins, Ernest S. Sharpe Centennial Professor at the University of Texas at Austin, on his new book "Don't Knock the Hustle: Young Creatives, Tech Ingenuity, and the Making of a New Innovation Economy." Watkins is joined by Elle Hearns, speaker/organizer/strategist/writer; April Kae, musician with Imanigold/writer/speaker/model/social media influencer; Jazmine Walker, podcaster/author/Black Joy Theorist/influencer; and rapper/musician/activist Tef Poe, who also performs.

This Design Jam is an "Un-Competition" for a DC focused response to the openIDEO / Rockefeller Foundation upcoming Food System Vision challenge . We'll use Human Centered Design to develop a Food System Vision for DC "that nourishes all people, grows the global economy, and nurtures a thriving environment."

Third Annual Georgetown Winter RUNderland to benefit
 
The Winter RUNderland is a community 5K fun run held every year on our historic Georgetown campus. We are a student and family-friendly event (and yes, dogs are welcome!). You can run or walk — or just come for the hot cocoa! Winter gear and holiday costumes are encouraged. We’ll also be providing plenty of snacks, hot cocoa, fun activities, and photo ops!
