Georgetown Entrepreneurship MED's Annual Design Lab

Georgetown Entrepreneurship MED hosts an annual Design Lab, which is an all-day, hackathon-style workshop where participants will learn the process of defining a problem, creating a solution, and evaluating a market opportunity. The day ends with a pitch competition judged by attendees, speakers, and advisors with free food and prizes! Space is limited, so don’t miss out!

Summer Launch Program Application Now Live! 

The Georgetown Entrepreneurship Summer Launch Program is a startup incubator program designed specifically for Georgetown students and current year graduates who want to launch a new venture. Many of our most successful student-led ventures have participated in the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Summer Launch Program. Several have gone on to gain admission to other regional and national accelerators, or receive other offers of investment and support.

Early admission deadline February 24th, EOD. For the Summer 2020 cohort, applications will be accepted until the program is full, and teams will be notified of a decision on a rolling basis (i.e. first come, first served).

FLITE Paid Internship & Stipend Program 

The Future Leaders in Technology (FLITE) program aims to build Georgetown’s next generation of tech leaders by providing paid summer internship experiences in the Bay Area, for both technical and non-technical roles. In addition to securing an 8-10-week paid summer internship (hourly rate at least $20/hour), FLITE recipients receive up to $5000 monetary assistance for housing, travel, and incidental costs. Awardees will also be matched with an alumni mentor for additional support and guidance.

Go to the Job Search tab in Handshake, type “FLITE,”, and six internships will be displayed or click on the link(s) below. Deadline has been extended!  Apply with a resume and cover letter by Sunday at 11:59pm, February 9.  Start dates are negotiable with the employer. Employers have asked not to be contacted.
