Cat's Claw
Our next ceilidh features the Climax Ceilidh Band - the instrument line up includes pipes, whistle, fiddle, accordian, guitar, mandolin and more. Keith Leech will be calling.

The video below shows the band and caller in action - though the calling is minimalist in this recording!

20th February - mark your diary now!
Click the image to play the video - This is the band and the caller we're getting here in Cardiff. If you all bring along a mate we could just about match the crowd of dancers. Wouldn't that be fabulous!
You can now book and pay for your advance tickets online! Advance booking closes 24 hours before the event.

Payments will be processed by PayPal using any card. You can print a ticket yourself or simply collect at the door (please bring your receipt e-mail).
Will Pound and Eddie Jay
We have an upgrade to our programme for October 15th. The band will feature Will Pound and Eddie Jay. Bob Morgan is the caller.

Will Pound is close to being a harmonica superstar - he's recorded sessions with Martin Simpson, and Jim Moray to name but two. He was also nominated for Musician of the Year at the Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2012, 2014 and 2015.

So put that in your diary if its not there already.

A quick snapshot of the Jan 2016 ceilidh
Thanks to all our dancers, Cat's Claw and Mic Spenceley for a grand start to the new season.

The raffle raised £81  and the money has been sent to UNICEF (not Christian Aid as we expected), as it seems UNICEF were offering the deal where the government doubled the money.

As a result £162 should be going to help the Syrian Refugee crisis.

Thank you for your generous donation of £81 to Donate and help keep children safe and warm.

With your kind gift we will be able to bring direct help the children affected by the Syria crisis.

We're doing all we can to ensure that the basic needs of every child are met - that they are warm, have clean water, food, health care, education and a safe environment.

Unicef is the world's leading children's organisation reaching children in more than 190 countries around the world.

We receive no funding from the United Nations budget and rely entirely on voluntary donations from valued supporters like you to fund our work for children worldwide.

On behalf of everyone at UNICEF and all those who will benefit from your gift, thank you.

Your support is very much appreciated.

Yours sincerely
David Bull
