Peace and love, Forekasters

Trending Events
☮️ Woodstock 50th Anniversary

Yes, the Woodstock 50 music celebration has been cancelled, but hey - better than another Fyre Festival. This week marks the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, a festival that brought together half a million people in a celebration of music, peace, and love. By the way, we watched the PBS documentary "Woodstock: Three Days That Defined a Generation", and it was excellent.

Treat yo’self this Tuesday because its National Filet Mignon Day.  Fun Fact: ‘Filet Mignon’ is French for ‘delicate fillet’, however in France they call this cut of beef, ‘filet de boeuf’.

Left handed people make up 7-10% of the world population, let’s celebrate their uniqueness on International Lefthanders Day.

Remember that amazing Perseid Meteor Shower we previously mentioned?  Here’s hoping that the full moon calls in sick this week and doesn’t ruin it.

The 4th Silicon Valley Comic Con is set this week and the main attraction leading up to the convention is the reunion of three generations of “Terminator” stars: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn, Kristanna Loken, Edward Furlong and Robert Patrick.

It’s National Honey Bee Day which means it’s time to celebrate those little guys who are responsible for more than a third of the food we eat.  We’ll be celebrating by ordering a side of honey with each of our meals.
