Divisional Highlights
ECE Pre-K Shabbos Box
The Pre-k children made special Shabbos boxes with everything special for Shabbos inside. They designed their own challah cover and kiddush cup.  They have a special snack with a clip that says l'kavod Shabbos, and a game to play on Shabbos. The idea is to focus on the positive aspects of Shabbos and what makes Shabbos special to us. Today they made cholent!
KES 5G Winter Party
Although the outdoor temperature doesn't give any indication that it's winter, inside the 5G classroom there was a snowy scene!  Mrs. Ehrenreich and the girls were dressed in their coziest winter gear as they crafted their own snowflakes and listened to Vivaldi’s Winter installation. They learned about the changing of the seasons while they sipped hot cocoa (with marshmallows and whipped cream, of course!).   Full Album
KES Girls Emes Journals
At last week’s Erev Shabbos assembly we introduced Rabbi Yaakov Kamenetsky z"l and the middah of Emes. The girls watched an adorable music video of Abie Rotenberg's "Never Tell a Lie", with acting by students, teachers, and parents. The girls all received their own Emes journals to record their Emes victories - times that they told the truth or were truthful even if it was challenging.
KES 5B Gets a First-Hand Account of the Six Day War
A special visitor came to visit the 5B Jewish History class. He is a grandfather of a 5B student, Gavriel Yechieli, and he was able to share his personal experiences from being a member of the IDF during the Six Day War.
RMS Three4Club
Last week RMS welcomed 27 new members to the club for the first trimester!  The Three4Club at RMS celebrates hard work, perseverance, and goal-setting. Membership is open to any student who has a strong desire to succeed and a willingness to do what it takes. Members enjoy special acknowledgement, membership cards, unique opportunities and a pizza lunch. Full Album
DACHS Smartphone Free Ski Trip
The DACHS Smartphone Free trip turned out to be even more incredible than expected. Throughout the trip, the air of growth and Kedusha became intertwined with the beauty of the Smoky mountains. The talmidim stayed in a gorgeous mansion in Tennessee. They went snow tubing, skiing, snowboarding, and so much more. Rabbi Bentzion Chait joined them for this special event. Everyone on the trip felt that they were celebrating their collective and individual connection to Hashem, and the steps they have all taken to become closer to Him.
BMZE News Four bochurim from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim in Queens are spending 6 weeks learning in YTCTE! Gavriel Hochster, Mordechai Foxburner, Dovid Kalchman (DACHS alumnus) and Mendy Weinberger (BMZE alumnus) are part of a popular "branching" program with our affiliate Yeshiva in Queens.  They have made a tremendous impact on our Yeshiva by serving as role models to our Bais Medrash and High School boys.
