COVID 19 Update

Due to covid isolation requirements, the event to celebrate Laurie's life has had to be postponed or a week.

Many apologies.

We are providing afternoon tea, coffee and tea is free and a bar will be available to purchase beer, wine, softdrink and Henkell. Covid regulations have meant that the days of bringing a plate to share are on hold.

Please give us some idea of numbers by registering for the event.

Special announcement

It was with much sadness that we learned of the passing of Laurie Harre on 29 December, 2020

It was Laurie's wish to not have a funeral.

The German Club Cairns will be hosting Pat, family and friends to share an afternoon tea in celebration of Laurie's life.

While Linda might get in trouble with him one day for organising this, it is worth the risk to spend some time together to mark the passing of this remarkable man.
