Tunnel of Oppression

The Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive experience that examines contemporary issues of race, class, domestic violence, religion, body image, gender identification, and discriminatory forms and processes. Participants are guided through a series of scenes that aim to educate and challenge them to think more deeply about these issues. At the end of the tour, there is a brief facilitated discussion, which allows for the opportunity to process the experience. LAUNCH Series

This year the Career Development Cender is proud to announce the LAUNCH Series for motivated undergraduate students who want an edge in the competitive job market! The weekly series consists of eight 50 minute workshops dedicated to professional development and career readiness. Free STI/HIV Testing

The Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina will be on campus to provide FREE and CONFIDENTIAL STI/HIV testing. No appointment or insurance paperwork is required. Students can request HIV (rapid and traditional), syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and hepatitis C testing. Free safer sex supplies (latex and non-latex condoms, female condoms, lubricant and dental dams) will also be available. Get tested. Get educated. Get supplies. Service Raleigh is an annual citywide day of service started in 1998 by NC State's Student Government and Park Scholars. Each year, volunteers from the university and surrounding community unite to undertake a variety of projects, each of which provides much needed assistance to local organizations in our community.
