"I would like commend the efforts of the WBID Services and Management in helping to keep the North Minneapolis Broadway District clean. I've noticed a tremendous difference in how our streets and business fronts are looking. I also noticed the workers are not rushing and taking their time with the clean up. This will ensure that our small business owners and consumers are safe on Broadway with increased business as summer time is upon us."

WBID Services Update
Better Futures Enterprises has had cleanup crews working throughout the WBID for four months, and the great results along the sidewalks speak for themselves.
For the first quarter of 2015, the cleanup crews have removed nearly 40 large garbage bags of trash from the district. Of those 40 bags, 5 of the bags were posters removed from the district.
As spring and summer continue to roll in, the crews will begin removing weeds from the sidewalk as part of their weekly rounds.
Keep an eye out for the crews on Tuesday's and Friday's during business hours, and be sure to say hello!
Banner Fabrication Proposals Being Solicited
The WBC on behalf of the West Broadway Business Improvement District is currently soliciting bids from vendors to fabricate and install the district banners. The banners will be made from aluminum, and will feature the four different designs seen above throughout the district.
The WBC aims to have a contract in place by early May to begin fabrication of the banners. After the fabrication is complete, the banners will then be installed along the entire WBID district by the end of the summer.

Its Almost Here! The West Broadway Farmers Market, FLOW Northside Arts Crawl
The West Broadway Farmers Market is less than two months away. Many of last years excellent vendors will be back, and our Market Manager, DeVon Nolan is hard at work in bringing in some new vendors to increase the diversity of the items offered at the market. As always, the market will be held in the Hawthorne Crossings parking lot on Friday afternoons. The first market will be on June 19th, and will run weekly until October 9th.
The 2015 FLOW Northside Arts Crawl marks the events 10 year anniversary, and it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Last years event brought activities such as the Broadway Liquor Outlet Beer Garden, the KMOJ Music Stage, and encouraged over 7000 people to visit the West Broadway Business District during the course of the weekend.
These two events put on by the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition are excellent marketing opportunities, and are a huge draw that bring in new customers to the district. Please consider sponsoring the West Broadway Farmers Market, or perhaps becoming a business participant in this years FLOW Northside Arts Crawl.
For more information about how you can sponsor or become involved in these great events, contact the WBC office at 612-353-5178
