Dear <<First Name>>,

"Gratitude turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." —Melody Beattie.
After being in our own bubble in last year's holiday season, we all crave deeper connections with family and friends. As we come together this week in gratitude for each other, I am reminded of someone once telling me that gratitude is a verb. It is beautiful to have a day of giving thanks, but what we do after, what we do the rest of the time, matters most
I am grateful for the life I have today and continuously feel blessed to do the work I get to do. I am thankful to all of you for your dances, comments, and loving support through the years.
I am called to start up the dance program for people with diabetes again in 2022. In 2018, our pilot program at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital was really successful.
This year's Giving Tuesday on November 30th, we would like to fundraise for Zoom classes for diabetic groups.
People with diabetes who have an immune-compromised system are at higher risk with COVID, and their nervous system is on high alert. Dance has continuously brought calmness, joy, and grounding to many, and it has helped us release stress, anxiety, and depression in these challenging times.
We want to continue offering classes and branch out into other communities and organizations for diabetes in other states, and because of Zoom, that is possible. We would like to reach out to doctors, nurse practitioners to bring movement to support their diabetes patients. Doctors at San Francisco General were using "green prescription" for their patients to attend the dance classes.
Syzygy Dance Project would love your support to ignite this project. We hope to gather data, offer trainings, and work with the healthcare system and practitioners to lessen this disease's physical and emotional pain.

In gratitude,
Sylvie & the SDP Team

There will be a Sweat Your Prayers® 5Rhythms class on Saturday, December 11, with Sylvie Minot from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at the Hidden City Ballroom at 304 Washington Ave, (Point) Richmond, CA 94801. This will be BOTH a hybrid (ZOOM) and an in-person class. We are checking on the status of the small outdoor garden for in-person participants who want to dance outside rather than inside, as the protocol asks that indoor participants be vaccinated. More details to follow.
